Day 3, 24th May Michelin Stars all the way with triple Michelin Starred lunch and dinner and Hotel Le Couvent des Minimes

Maison Pic is a top five star restaurant located in Valence, Drôme, France. Established in 1889 by Eugene and Sophie Pic, the restaurant first earned the prestigious 3 Michelin stars in 1939 under their son André Pic (1893–1984) Today run by the 3rd generation Ann-Sophie Pic who will host you for the perfect Provence lunch before heading to your luxury hotel.
The five-star Hotel Le Couvent des Minimes is a traditional Provencal paradise.
Nestled in rugged wine and cheese country its combination of light stoned walls and deep green woodlands conjures unique feelings of Frenchness. Sample a cooling glass of local rose as you play boules or simply wander the beautiful plant and flower-filled grounds in all their splendour.
The Couvent des Minimes is steeped in history and was founded in 1613, in Mane in the modern-day French department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, by the Marquis Melchior de Forbin Janson for the Minimes order of mendicant monks established by Saint Vincent de Paul.
After the French Revolution, the Couvent des Minimes remained uninhabited until 1862, when Canon Terrasson, archpriest of Forcalquier, undertook its transformation into a hospice.
Several years later, a community of Franciscan Missionaries of Mary came to live there to look after the hospice and its residents.
In 1999, the Missionaries left the Couvent, which was left unoccupied until its reopening as a hotel and spa in June 2008. Far from its original vocation, this residence dedicated to relaxation continues to cultivate the same welcoming spirit that has dwelled there for the last few centuries.
The Relais & Châteaux Le Couvent des Minimes Hotel & L’Occitane Spa was awarded the “Best Boutique Hotel in Europe” award at the 2009 Prix Villégiature Awards on 19 October.
You’ll love your experience of this timeless chic Chateau with all its modern luxuries.

Elegant plates of Swordfish carpaccio, Gourmet grilled salmon with herbs of Provence and pluma of Iberian pig will have your taste buds racing around like over excited fire flies before setting off the for final stage of your supercar journey.
