Clay pigeon shooting experience on The Thames, North Greenwich Pier, SE10 0EW, Thursday 10th September 2020

Step into Admiral Lord Nelson’s sailing shoes and discover a unique river Thames.
Your VIP experience starts in one of the most historic and beautiful parts of London, in the shadows of The O2 Arena and within a minute hand’s journey of father time himself in The Greenwich Observatory, you’ll board one of the largest Thames sailing barges ever built.

As one of only four such vessels, “Will” is steeped in history and laden with luxury.
Built in 1925 and originally designed to carry large amounts of cargo, she was pivotal in the Second World War efforts carrying thousands of tonnes of much needed supplies.
She was targeted by the German Luftwaffe having been machine gunned twice in The River Medina, bombed in a daylight raid, very nearly torpedoed off Harwich and was attacked by a Focke-Wulf that shot 1,000 holes through her mainsail!

She still sails to tell her tales though and in 1986 she was converted into a “floating boardroom” by P & O complete with dining room and mahogany panelled saloon for VIP entertainment.

You’ll set sail on your watery adventure to the inspiring Thames Barrier and enjoy expert coaching from professional instructors including team games and individual challenges with prizes.

Your return journey along The Thames is full of luscious London landmarks and vibrant vistas including passing The Cutty Sark, Greenwich Park, The Old Royal Naval Collage and Canary Wharf before being welcomed home with an exclusive raising of Tower Bridge in the shadow of The Shard to disembark.
